Tramadol Contraindications:

Known hypersensitivity to tramadol or opioids.
- Acute poisoning or overdose with products of central nervous system depressants (such as alcohol, hypnotics, analgesics and etc).
- Concurrent or recent (case less than 15 days) with MAOIs.
- Severe respiratory insufficiency.
- Severe hepatocellular insufficiency.
- Children under 15 years.
- Epilepsy is not controlled by treatment.
- Breastfeeding, if a long-term treatment is required: about 0.1% of the dose of tramadol intake by the mother is secreted in milk. A one-time intake of tramadol appears to be safe for the newborn. If treatment is needed for several days, breastfeeding should be discontinued. If long-term tramadol treatment needed, breastfeeding must be finished.
- Association against-indicated: linezolid.

- Association with buprenorphine, nalbuphine and pentazocine.
- This medicine should not generally be used unless otherwise directed by your doctor:

· during pregnancies, there is insufficient data to assess the teratogenic effects of tramadol during the first trimester of pregnancy. Fetotoxicity caused maternal toxicity was observed. It is best not to use Sandoz TRAMADOL 50 mg tablets in the first trimester of pregnancy. From the second quarter, prudent use is occasionally possible.

· As with other opioid analgesics: during the last quarter, the chronic use of tramadol may induce, regardless of the dose, a withdrawal syndrome in the newborn. At the end of pregnancy, high doses, even for a short-term treatment, may cause respiratory depression in the newborn, in combination with carbamazepine.

- Drinking alcohol during treatment is not recommended.
- Avoid using tramadol if creatinine clearance <10 ml / min.
- Association recommended: naltrexone.
